What should I bring?

- Your health fund card, if you have extras cover
- Your current glasses, sunglasses and contact lenses
- A list of any medicines you take, including eye drops
- A referral letter, if you are seeing the eye surgeon

Worried about eye drops or tests?
Many people are. Tell us when you book and we will explain each test before it happens. Nothing touches the eye without warning, and dilating drops are only used when they add useful information.
Common questions
Allow about 45 minutes for a comprehensive eye exam, and up to 90 minutes if your pupils are dilated or extra imaging is needed.
