Glasses chosen with care
The optical boutique at Visura Eye Care in South Yarra dispenses prescription glasses and sunglasses, with lenses measured and frames adjusted to fit you.
How do I choose the right glasses?
Good glasses depend on three things: an accurate prescription, lenses that suit how you use your eyes, and a frame that fits your face. An optical dispenser helps you choose a frame, takes measurements such as the distance between your pupils, and recommends lens types for your work and lifestyle.
Lens options include single vision, multifocal (progressive) lenses for distance and near, office lenses for screen work, anti-reflection coatings and tinted or polarised sunglass lenses. Most private health insurance extras policies include a rebate for glasses, which can be claimed through HICAPS on the day.
Who is it for?
- Anyone with a new or updated glasses prescription
- People who need multifocal lenses for reading and distance
